Malbec 45%, Merlot 35%, Cabernet Sauvignon 10%, Syrah 10%.

The 2006 Clos de los Siete is a slightly different blend with 50% Malbec, 30% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Syrah. Opaque purple-colored, it has a similar expressive nose including fragrant plum, blueberry, and black cherry. Ripe, sweet, and seamless, it admirably hides its tannin under all the fruit. It will evolve for several years but who will have the willpower to defer gratification? It is an awesome value.

This is an excellent wine for the price. A very unusual blend, but very tasty. Full bodied, many layers of flavor and a nice long finish. Good acidity, so it pairs well with food. One of the real gems coming out of Chile.

Powerful, dense nose of dark plum, smoke and a hint of blackstrap, with flavors to match. This is a robust, deeply colored and intense, tarry red that is made in a no-holds-barred style. Finish is filled with Bourbon and spice.

A lovely, clean and crisp, white burgundy.

These grapes enjoy the mild climate and clay soil of the Fruili, making it crisp and fresh.

Beautifully lush and velvety, with a hint of earthy spice. This wine is an exceptional value. A real treat.

Medium body, acid, fruit and oak. Medium tannin. Cassis, cigar box, black cherries, fruitcake. A bit closed now, but shows nicely extracted fruit, silky tannins and fine length.
