Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka, tastes almost exactly like the beloved sweet tea poured at generations of Southern family reunions, church meetings and picnics. Sweet Tea Vodka is 70 proof, a bit tamer than most vodkas, but the sweetness makes it seem even less potent. The daintiest drinkers can take shots without wincing (except, perhaps, from the sugar).

Slightly reduced but still balanced enough to give off a positive early impression. The wine is sweet, almost syrupy, but it is that same ripeness that gives it more oomph and richness than most under-$10 wines. Finishes baked and almost stewy, but if you get at it early it should deliver all the black fruit and size one can expect from a value-priced offering.

Bright red. Pungent cherry and dark berry aromas offer clean, straightforward appeal. Plump and juicy, showing a sweet black raspberry flavor, no tannins and gentle lift. A tad jammy but delivers impressive flavor punch, sweetness and clarity for the money.

This a Grenach and Syrah blend was aged for 6 months in French and American oak. Purple-colored, it offers up an expressive nose of garrigue, pepper, grilled meat, and black cherry. On the palate there is an abundance of crunchy, spicy dark fruits, a good integration of wood, tannin, and acidity, and a pure finish. Drink this excellent value over the next 2 years.

Raisins, cherry, and rich spices on the nose. Medium-bodied and fruity core, tightly wound. Somewhat tannic, youthful finish with more spice.

This wine has some of the characteristics of Amarone's priced much higher!

Inviting fresh plum aromas leap out of the glass with raspberry and pretty pot-pourri notes providing more complexity. The palate is juicy and spicy with an abundance of red fruits that are fresh and vibrant. Licorice and rose petals come through on the mid palate and an under-lying earthy complexity is evident all the way through. The tannins are powdery and subtle on this juicy ready to drink red.
