 In 1975, West Meade Wine & Liquor Mart opened to serve the West Nashville community. Since then, the store has grown to become the premiere wine and liquor retailer in the city of Nashville. From the original 1500 sq.ft. space, through 3 additions, to its present 6,000 sq.ft., West Meade has expanded so that customers can browse over 5000 quality wine and spirits. We are proud of our great selection; carefully chosen by the staff, and priced to let each customer find just the right bottle to fit their own budget. The WM Reserve Room featuring rare and specialty wines, large format bottles, Baccarat crystal decanters and hard to find highly rated wines priced from $60 to over $2,000.
Customer service has been top shelf at West Meade Wine and Liquor Mart since we opened or doors 35 years ago. We've always been ready to assist our customers - the first-time buyer and the wine aficionado. It's been that way since Nick Varallo and Dominick Petrucelli first went into the retail liquor business with D and N Liquors in 1945. D and N was located in downtown Nashville on Church Street. The present location of West Meade Wine and Liquor Mart at the split of Highways 100 and 70 is on the spot where the famous Nick Varallo's BBQ Restaurant and Coppia Club stood from 1951-1972.

Meet Frances Ann, the Owner
 Frances Ann Varallo is keeping the family legacy alive and growning in West Nashville. After 30 years in television production, she retired in 2003 and opened a little gift boutique in the lobby of White Bridge Auto Wash.
Her brother, "Doc" Varallo, handled the family business (including the wine and liquor store), but Frances Ann was there to assist him when needed. After Doc's untimely death in 2008, Frances Ann has found herself taking a much more active roll in the operation of West Meade Wine & Liquor Mart. She readily admits, "I would be at a total loss without the knowledge, patience and kindness of our invaluable employees. They ARE the business. I so enjoy being able to contribute on the sidelines, while leaving the major operation to our excellent manager, Phil Wilson and a truly dedicated staff."
